It is essential that we carry out an assessment of your child prior to commencing any tuition. Allow an hour for us to carry out an assessment.
English Assessment
We assess in English to ascertain your child’s reading age, comprehension age and spelling age
Maths assessment
We assess in maths to obtain the current level and to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of your child. This will enable us to fill the gaps in the pupils’ knowledge.
Now your child will be in a better position to access the school work and accelerate their progress.

A typical session will consist of 5 or 6 different activities taken from:

English
A typical session will consist of 5 or 6 different activities taken from:
- Reading
- Spelling
- Vocabulary development
- Comprehension activity on the computer
- Written English sentences to practice Grammar
- Written expressions
- Longer writing tasks
- Phonemic awareness
- Homework tasks
- Educational computer games
