Welcome to Kip McGrath!

At Kip McGrath, we provide tutorial assistance to a wide variety of children. We teach English, maths and science from Key Stage 1 to GCSE. We also provide tuition for SATs, 11+ and common entrance examinations.

The building of confidence and self-esteem is our first priority. With these in place, your child will begin to succeed. We are not in the business of the quick fix, for success and lasting improvement rarely come overnight – but come they will. Kip McGrath Centres are stimulating places where learning is undertaken in invigorating surroundings. Children have a love of colour, shape and texture often way above that of an adult – so we strive to make each Centre an inspiring environment where your child will want to work.

First of all, every student is invited along to the Centre for an initial assessment which is free of charge. This enables us to understand what each individual’s strengths and development needs are. This forms the basis of the tailored programme of study and gives parents and students the opportunity to see the centre, meet the staff and decide if they want to enrol.

Each student’s programme is updated regularly through the ongoing assessment of their progress and the observation of their working habits, attitudes and learning styles.

The 80 minute tuition sessions have up to 6 activities built into them. Some of these are computer based, providing immediate feedback and 'Skill Building' opportunities to students. There are up to 5 students in the session.
