At Kip McGrath Gateshead East, we provide personalised tuition that builds confidence and helps every child reach their potential.

Our centre is owned and led by experienced educator Carol Milne (PGCE), who also owns and leads our centres in Washington, Chester-le-Street and Heddburn. This means families benefit from the same high standards, teaching approach and care across all locations.

All centres are staffed by qualified teachers with extensive experience supporting children with SEN and neurodivergent profiles, in a calm, supportive environment where children can thrive.

Free Initial Assessment – Any Centre

We offer a free initial assessment, which can be completed at Gateshead East or any of our other centres, regardless of where ongoing tuition will take place.

The assessment covers reading, comprehension, spelling and maths, and allows us to create a tailored learning plan, aligned with the National Curriculum and your child’s needs.

Personalised, Flexible Tuition

• One-to-one teaching within small shared sessions (maximum 4 students)

• Individual learning programmes using Kip McGrath resources

• Chunk-sized activities, movement breaks and regular consolidation

• Support to catch up, keep up or get ahead

Tuition can take place at any of our centres, giving families flexibility if schedules or circumstances change.
