About Kip McGrath Holmfirth

Kip McGrath Education Centre Holmfirth's mission is to enable all our students to achieve their potential in English and maths and enjoy their time with us. Children learn more effectively when in a relaxed and calm setting, where they can progress at a pace that is just right for them. By using the tried and tested Kip McGrath system the results achievable are outstanding. Since starting the centre in 2017 we have helped almost 600 students to improve their English and maths knowledge and skills.

We set very high standards and believe in rewarding and praising effort and achievement, which produces a great environment to work in.

Meet our Centre Manager,
Catherine Walton

Catherine Walton has over 20 years experience of teaching English and maths. She started her own Kip McGrath Centre in Barnsley in 2013 and found the work so rewarding that she started the Holmfirth Centre in 2017. She has gained substantial experience working with children who have various learning difficulties and is qualified to provide dyslexia support. She feels it has been a great privilege to support so many children through their school years and to reap the rewards for their hard work .
