About Kip McGrath Loughborough

At Kip McGrath Education Centre Loughborough we work with children from ages 5 - 18 to support their learning journey in maths, English and science.

Children attend Kip McGrath for many reasons - some want to excel; some have entrance exams to take; some are struggling in school and some need that extra bit support in specific areas. Our individualised programmes promote rapid progress, and children can gain an average of 2 academic years of progress in just 48 lessons.

Our teachers are highly qualified professionals who all hold enhanced DBS checks and many of them are GCSE examiners in their subjects. We are all passionate about learning and helping our pupils find a love for learning too.

Alison and Paul Barker

Alison Barker is our centre manager. She has been in the teaching profession for over 22 years as a maths Teacher, Head of Department, Curriculum Team Lead and Associate Senior Leader. She has a wealth of experience working with pupils from both the primary and secondary sector, and she takes a special interest in working with pupils with additional needs. She is passionate about learning and ensuring every pupil has the very best opportunity and learning journey.
