Our tuition centres

Kip McGrath Redditch and Kip McGrath Worcester South are proud to have been recognised as Approved Tuition Partners for the DfE’s National Tutoring Programme. We provide high quality English and maths tuition for students aged between 4 and 16 years, in YR-11 from our centres or online on our bespoke platform. We currently work with more than 25 local schools delivering catch up tuition within our communities in Redditch and Worcester, having developed a reputation in our areas for professionalism and excellent provision.

In-centre lessons

Most of our tutoring is done face to face in our centres in Redditch town and Sidbury, Worcester. Our tutors are all qualified, experienced teachers- many of whom still teach in schools and mark for exam boards. Our classrooms are well resourced, with each student operating at their own workstation on our learning platform, iKip, under the guidance of their regular tutor. 

Online lessons

Our secure online platform, iKip, allows us to deliver face to face online live lessons using our extensive database of interactive maths and English activities. Again, our tutors are all specialists in their age and subject area and experienced in working with students of all abilities and learning needs.

• Primary tuition- early reading, literacy and numeracy
• Secondary English 
• Secondary maths

We can assess the students’ areas for improvement in their first session using our own assessment system, or schools can provide targets they would like us to work on with the students. We are committed to supporting the hard work already taking place in schools and work closely with teachers and admin staff to deliver the best possible outcomes for our young people. 

What we offer

Our teacher owners, Hayley and Niki, provide a complete administrative service for our schools. 

• Onboarding service: we start by contacting families to set up sessions.
• Attendance: we track attendance as the lessons happen and follow up non-attenders on the same day
• Lesson monitoring: we monitor lesson quality to ensure students are working towards suitable targets and making good progress
• Reporting: our tutors are available after every  in centre session to give feedback to families. We also produce a detailed written report at the end of each term or block of lessons.
