Lesley-Ann Horder, the Centre Director of Kip McGrath Ossett, has over 30 years teaching experience. Before working at Kip McGrath, she taught in a Wakefield school for 16 years and held the post of Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and Deputy Headteacher there. She is passionate about education and ensuring that all children reach their full potential.
Our tuition takes place after school and on Saturdays, with each session lasting 80 minutes and being led by experienced, qualified teachers. Children are taught on a 1:1 basis within their small group of up to 5, and each child works at their own pace on their own individual plan. They are challenged and extended but never overwhelmed.
Our aim is to provide a warm and supportive environment whilst giving them the confidence and skills needed for academic success.
