About Kip McGrath Hamilton

Andrew Moulden and Karen MacIntyre have been running Kip McGrath Hamilton since 2015. Up to 160 students per week receive Maths or English tutoring in the Hamilton centre.

Karen is an experienced Primary teacher. She holds Accredited Teacher Status (ATS) with the British Dyslexia Association. Karen is currently studying to become an accredited dyslexia assessor.

Andrew is an award-winning Secondary maths teacher and ex-Head Teacher. He is a Chartered Mathematician and is the author of the website Maths.scot. Andrew is currently studying towards an MSc in Computer Science.

The Hamilton centre offers a calm and engaging learning environment, with superb facilities and resources. Our carefully-planned tutoring enables our students to make strong progress and enjoy academic success. We also work hard to build our students’ confidence, self-esteem and study skills.

The Hamilton centre is perfectly located for students from Bothwell, Uddingston, Blantyre, Bellshill, Motherwell, Wishaw, Larkhall or Strathaven.

Andrew Moulden and Karen MacIntyre

Andrew graduated in mathematics from Glasgow University in 1992 and qualified as a teacher the following year. He has taught in Airdrie, Dundee and Glasgow schools, and in international private schools. Karen has a first class honours degree in education from Glasgow University. She has taught in Perth, East Kilbride and Glasgow schools, and in international private schools. Andrew and Karen have been running Kip McGrath Hamilton since 2015, during which time they have tutored over 1200 students.
